Newmetrix Inc., a Cambridge-based startup that offers software for industrial video and photo content from mobile devices, GoPro cameras and drones, has raised $3.4 million and landed a high-profile customer.The funding, led by CommonAngels Ventures with participation from Launchpad Venture Group, will allow the company to focus on accelerating product development and customer acquisition, according to a release.
One of the largest building contractors in the country, Boston-based Suffolk Construction, is using Newmetrix as an "innovative tool" that will allow Suffolk to communicate and share information about projects with internal and external audiences, according to the construction firm.
