The company has long had a strong safety culture that emphasizes having conversations about safety, not simply ticking off boxes. Lithko recognized, however, that as beneficial as the conversations were, they needed a better process for making, reporting and analyzing safety observations.
Warfel, the 2019 ENR mid-Atlantic contractor of the year, was looking to keep jobsites open during the COVID-19 pandemic and improve safety. How could they do it in a way that didn’t put more people on projects and expose them to risk?
