Product Update: Safety tags, integrations and more

Our end of January release was a big one, headlined by the addition of new safety tags (as featured in ENR), a new integration with OxBlue site camera (now in Beta), and lots of cool new features on web and mobile.

Introducing safety tags - available to all!

We've now added a full set of advanced safety SmartTags to our image recognition. Vinnie can now automatically search for and tag people missing PPE like hard hats, hi-vis gear, safety glasses, and our brand-new detector for missing gloves! Be sure to also check out the other safety tags for housekeeping, ladders, and scaffolding.

Safety tags are now turned on for all paid users and for a limited number of pictures on free trials. We've updated the data in the sample project with some examples of pictures with safety issues. To see them in action, use your settings page to reset the sample project, then follow this tutorial to search for people missing gloves, hi-vis, and more.

Safety tags will automatically be added to any new files you upload; you can also find them in existing files by re-running SmartTag over your projects. You might be amazed what you find!

NEW OxBlue integration

Our beta OxBlue integration is live, and we're excited to start bringing the power of image analysis to site cameras. Try it out by connecting one or more cameras to a project. You can choose when and how often to pull frame images, and even sync OxBlue's time lapse videos.

See more when you search

We've added a tag confidence filter to our search engine. When you search for a tag, you see the best results our computer vision can find. Now, you can also change search confidence to see more matches that could still be a hit; think of it like scrolling down to see more in Google search. Search on high confidence for super-strong results, or lower the confidence to see more options, depending on what you need.

Download file data

You can now export file data, including properties, metadata, and tag counts, to Excel. File info reports are a great way to track performance of important tags over time; they're also our first step in providing more tools that help you get the most out of your data. Learn more!

New & improved tag tree

The project and organization level tag trees are now much faster, sleeker and easier to use. You can also search the tag tree and delete tags in bulk.

Mobile updates

We've brought favorite projects to mobile, added author data to files, and added zoom capability to photos & videos taken in our app.
